Advisory board

The Llano Main Street Advisory Board
is appointed by the Llano City Council to provide guidance for the Main Street
Project working cooperatively with the City of Llano, the Main Street
Manager, and committees designated by the Board.
The Advisory Board's goal is to prepare a plan for the future that incorporates the philosophy and wording of the mission statement and vision, that is the promotion of the historic fabric of the commercial district to improve the economy with the involvement and
cooperation of the community.
The Advisory Board meets the fourth Monday of each month at Llano City Hall, 301 W. Main Street, in city council chambers.
Vision Statement:
Llano Main Street envisions the Historic Business District as the heart of the community where history is preserved, where unique and exciting businesses flourish, and where residents and visitors choose to come for business, shopping, living, and entertainment.
Mission Statement:
To bolster the economy of our community by using the Main Street four point approach of Design, Organization, Promotion, and Economic Restructuring to preserve and restore the historic buildings and foster community cohesiveness.
